i hope its not rude to ask... but can u maybe write a few affecionate /reassuring words for (involuntary) regressor boys who are non-verbal? when i regress its because of trauma/stress and i cant do anything besides laying down in bed with stuffies in my arms.

i'm having trouble finding content that fits my specific struggles. thank you sm if you write something back. but please don't feel pressured to respond, if you prefer not to!

Hey, sweet boy. You are so incredibly precious and loved! If the world feels too big, too loud, or too heavy, it’s okay to go quiet, to not have the words you want to say, to grunt, to babble, to squeak, or to be completely silent. You don’t need words to be valid, to be understood, or to be worthy of love and care. It’s okay if all you can do is curl up with your stuffies and let yourself just be, remember that they love you and love any chance to cuddle with you! You are not any less worthy because you need that softness. Your feelings are real, and they matter.

— 🤕 be open to accommodations when ur carer is having a pain flare, like a chair next to the tub for them to sit when they run u a bath. have a pillow ready if they are kneeling to tie ur shoes or snap up a onesie.

—— 🩹 offer to help out more! clean off ur plate without asking, double down on chores, maybe take one of theirs off their plate. doing things without asking will make u feel like baba’s little helper & also probably be much appreciated.

——— ❤️‍🩹 spend some time nourishing them the way they nourish u. temple massages with tiger balm for migraines or an ice pack & a scalp massage. lotion their feet & ankles if they are swollen. rewrap their bandages for them.

———— 🩹 incorporate their mobility aids into ur regressive relationship, such as drawing them with their wheelchair in pictures or covering their cane with stickers! (with permission, of course.) normalize their illness as just a part of who they are.

Hi again! Not sure if you’ve already said this before, and totally gimmi the link (if possible) if you have, but;

if Lil Loki was smol enough, would/does he use high chairs? Personally, I think he’d act a little grumpy and pretend that he doesn’t like it, but on the inside he indeed loves it :3

and if you’ve done any art like that, then I’ll have to search ur profile :P and if you haven’t, then I’d definitely recommend doing some! Lil Loki really warms my heart and reminds me that I can feel smol still :3

he definitely does! he’s only a small fella, and a messy one at that, so it’s very much a requirement for him.

I think at first he would hate it. Loki would have a particular hatred for being restricted in any way he doesn’t chose himself, so the first time is definitely a fight and he doesn’t even end up eating because he’s so fussy; Thor simply helps him out and gives him some cuddles to sooth him.

next time, Thor just sits him in his high chair with just a bottle as he reads a story to his little brother. Loki fusses again, but soon begins to calm and begins to nurse from his bottle. they do this a few times, before Thor tries at dinner time again.

Loki is a little anxious, but much more lenient than he was the first attempt. after some quiet time, where Thor sets their dinner down and idly chats, Loki calms and starts to take tentative nibbles at his fruit. he eats about half before he starts to fuss and ask for Thor’s attention, which he of course receives.

the next attempt is breakfast the next morning, and Loki finally eases into his chair and even eats all his food with little complaint, even taking a post-breakfast bottle. he gets extra cuddles and kisses for his efforts from his big brother and from then on its a lot easier. within the next few weeks, Loki settles into his routine and finds comfort in his high chair.

he even falls asleep in it after a particularly tiring day…
